It takes at least an hour for it to cook fully in the oven for me. I know my bacon's not THAT thick, any idea why it takes so long at 350 in a gas oven?Erinnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6579130365438517923.post-49168916537040070832012-07-29T11:47:38.938-07:002012-07-29T11:47:38.938-07:00Had Bacon Candy at the car show in ANoka, MN about...Had Bacon Candy at the car show in ANoka, MN about a month ago and now it is stuck in my head. They did it a bit different. They smoked the bacon after dipping it in a sauce of brown sugar, hint of a balsamic vinegar and cayenne pepper. It was then dipped in motre brown sugar and cayenne pepper and smoked again. Kept on grill to kepp it hot and tender. Oh My God!!!!! What a treat for a football Sunday. How bad could it be? http://www.sisboomblog.com/2010/09/salted-bacon-roca-how-bad-can-that-be.html I will remove my moratorium on further candy making and make these for the work crew if you share the recipe and technique!Trevor Sis Boomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02265530630570337679noreply@blogger.com
